Affiliate Program Terms

1. Joining

• You must be 18 or older and give us accurate contact and payout details.
• Joining is free. We may decline, pause or close any affiliate account, for example for breaking these terms.

2. What you earn

• You earn 20% of the amount a family actually pays (before card fees, after any discount) when that family created their TryScholarships account through your link.
• Your link is remembered on the visitor's browser for 60 days. If they click another affiliate's link afterwards, the most recent link counts. Once the family has an account, later purchases by that family stay credited to you.
• No commission on your own purchases or your own household's, on free or comped plans, or on payments that are refunded, disputed or charged back.

3. Payouts

• Each commission is held for 30 days, then reviewed. We pay approved commissions at the start of each month once your balance reaches $25.00, by PayPal, Venmo, Zelle or check.
• You're responsible for your own taxes. U.S. affiliates paid $600 or more in a calendar year must give us a completed W-9 before further payouts.
• We may void commissions that come from fraud, spam, fake accounts or anything that breaks these terms.

4. How you may promote TryScholarships

• Always disclose that you may earn a commission (for example “I earn a commission if you upgrade”), as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires.
• Never promise or suggest that a child will win a scholarship or a certain amount of money.
• No spam: no unsolicited bulk email or texts, no posting the link where it isn't welcome, no fake reviews.
• Don't bid on “TryScholarships” or misspellings in search ads, and don't pretend to be TryScholarships or use our name in a domain or account name.
• Don't target children: TryScholarships accounts are for parents and guardians.

5. Changes and ending

We may change these terms or the commission rate with 30 days' notice by email; commissions already earned keep the old terms. You can leave at any time by emailing us. If we close the program, we pay approved commissions above $25.00 within 60 days.
